Emergency first aid at work qualification

Designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their Dental practice workplace. Successful completion of this qualification, candidates will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give effective first aid in emergency situations.

We are able to conduct group training sessions at your venue. You may wish to join one of our open public courses of which we run various dates throughout the year, see details on our upcoming courses.

Course programme:

This interactive one-day course is delivered using small group scenarios, in a friendly environment. 

Programme:

 

• The roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider

• Assessing an incident

• Managing an unresponsive casualty

• CPR and AED 

• Recovery Position

• Choking

• Seizures

• Shock

• ​Anaphylaxis

• Wounds and bleeding

• Minor injuries

• Cuts, grazes and bruises

• Minor burns and scalds

• Anaphylaxis  

                                           

Qualifications:

Ofqual accreditation Level 3 EFAW first aider at work (valid for 3 years) 

 

We are a Qualsafe training centre which means our courses are approved and recognised by Ofqual accreditation.

 

All costs are fully inclusive of onsite training delivery, travel, first aid at work course materials, books and accredited emergency first aid at work certificates.
